Projecting a professional image on the job

* Don't close your mind just open it to every changes in your workplace or life.

* We must dressed up not only in our workplace also outside to project a good image of us . That will say to much about us.
* I like to say good morning to all of my partners every time I arrive to my work .
* Get a good mentor to increase our ability , skill and help us to find a good job.
* Create a good networking, sharing ann enjoing with other work partners.

Task 2:

Watch this video and write down the main idea(s), suggestions, and strategies the presenter wanted to offer.

When we are meeting someone we have to project confidence. That could be shake our hands firm and warm , keep eye contacts and remeber theirs names when we comeback talk with that person in the future. That will be nice for them and with this action we will making good friends and creating a good environment to work with them in harmony. 



Task 3:

Compare the reading and the video together; write down the similarities and the differences between them. Ask two of your peers on their findings and again compare them to yours.

In my opinion I think the articles and video has some similarities, because we have to be decent and confidence when we are looking for some professional job. The specific difference is , one of them talk about your image , all the clothes that you have to wear when you go to an interview (the article)  and the second one (video) talk about how can you project confidence and get some friends when you meet someone at the workplace, interview or even outside of the work.

VIOLENCE AT WORKPLACE

Good morning everybody,

Yesterday, we talked about domestic violence and violence against women. Today, I want you to think about violence and harassment in workplace. Skim through this link and then answer the following tasks.

Task 1:
Think of a definition of violence in workplace. Does violence occur in workplace? Does it always have to be from your boss? How can you describe it? How does it happen? Why do you think it happen?

Sometimes that kind of violences happens not only in a workplaces, could be in other places like a shoppers, malls, restaurants, schools and that kind of bad behaviors come from other guys or social group. I'm not sure about the how or what exactly happen with this peopple but i'm sure the mostly problems comes from home. All of us has the responsabilty to give a good education to our sons . 

Task 2:
List four or more things, actions, attitude, or behaviours that can be considered violence at workplace.
* Hide information .
* Keep a bad attitude all the time.


Task 3:
What is/are the best action(s) in your opinion to deal with that kind of violence or harassment?

*I think the best option to keep a good environment is write down some Policy in the workplaces and assign some peopple to attend this situation in case that could happen.

Task 4:
If you were to advise a friend or a family member who has just joined new workplace or school to be aware of violence at workplace, what would you say to him or to her?
I will say him or her just try to be nice with everyone and work for the team goals to reach together that. I can't say him or her be aware for this guys or this other people because all of us have a differents opinion. I f a do that I will creating a bad environment for him or her.
